Model Behavior. pt. 3

I've been working with friends as subjects to build a modeling/fashion portfolio and it's been fun. Much different than my PJ work, but still pretty cool.

I really try to personalize the subject in the photos and so far it's worked.

Valerie emailed me and wanted to shoot so we did. I also shot a roll of Fuji Astia 100F on a flash bracket and I'll post some of those when I get them back from the lab.

I've gotten into a nice film streak currently and am trying to figure out what films I'll stick with. So far Kodak has gotten me for both neg (Portra 160VC) and slides (Ektrachrome 100VS) and their T-Max 400 pushes extremely nice to 1600 for a contrast-y look, which I love for portraiture. I've also been digging Ilford stuff, like the HP5 and FP4. I kind of want to run a roll of PanF 50 for old times sake.

Also, I bought an F5 on eBay for $225. It will be here Wednesday.

Lots of blog posts coming up: surfing with a 600 f/4, car racing at Laguna Seca and a monster truck rally.
