Remotes: Skateboarding

Nikon D300, 10.5 f/2.8 fisheye, 8fps, remotely triggered.

The above photo was taken with the set-up below, triggered by a Pocket Wizard—a radio signaled that is triggered by an off-camera remote. That remote was attached to my hand-held camera.

With remotes, you have to pre-focus to where you want your shot to be.

I've been wanting to get this shot (below) for while. The skate park is bordered on one side by the lake and every so often the paddle boats float by.

Nikon D700, 70-200 f/2.8 @ f/4.5, ISO 400.
